Lspci and after the long list, my card come up with: I tried to set the card under all types listed there (analog, mpeg, etc) and it could not find my card. ( I found that the "dvb-utils dvbstream" was replaced with the above in Lucid)

the card is very well inserted and secured in a PCI-e slot I have bought a WinTV-HVR-1250 based on some reviews that this card is easy to setup in ubuntu but I have a bad experience so far.
